Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of cedarlinedispatch.co. Please read them carefully — especially the sections on outdoor activity risks.

Website use
By accessing or using cedarlinedispatch.co (the “site”), operated by Cedar Line Dispatch, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content at a scale that burdens the site, or use the site to send spam or harmful material.
Informational nature of content
The site provides general travel and outdoor information and inspiration, including destination guides, activity notes, trip ideas and field notes. It is not professional advice and is not a substitute for official guidance, training, local knowledge or the advice of qualified guides.
Cedar Line Dispatch is a publication. We do not sell trips, tours, accommodation, transportation or bookings, and we do not organise or supervise any activity described on the site.
Outdoor activity risks
Outdoor activities — including hiking, paddling, camping, cycling, wildlife viewing, driving on remote roads and winter travel — involve inherent risks, including serious injury and death. Risks include changing weather, cold water, avalanches, wildfire, difficult terrain, wildlife encounters, equipment failure and distance from help.
Conditions can change quickly and without notice. Trail, road, water, weather, wildlife and fire conditions described on the site may be different when you travel. Before any trip, you must verify current conditions, closures, advisories, permits and regulations with the appropriate official and local authorities — for example Parks Canada, provincial and territorial parks agencies, Indigenous governments, municipalities, Avalanche Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada and local emergency services.
You are solely responsible for assessing your own abilities, experience, fitness and equipment, and for the decisions you make outdoors.
No professional safety guarantee
We make no guarantee that following any information on the site will keep you safe. Safety tips are general in nature and may not cover every situation. Nothing on the site creates a guide–client or professional relationship. Consider formal instruction or a licensed guide for any activity that is new to you or beyond your experience.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep content accurate and current, but we do not warrant that the site is complete, accurate, current or error-free. Rules, fees, reservation systems, access and facilities change. If you notice an error, please contact us.
Third-party links
The site may link to websites operated by others, such as park agencies or organisations. We provide these links for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, their content or their privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Intellectual property
The site and its original content — including text, the Cedar Line Dispatch name and logo, design and layout — are owned by Cedar Line Dispatch or used under licence and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. Photographs are used under the licences of their respective sources.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to our pages. Any other reproduction, distribution or modification requires our prior written permission.
User submissions
If you send us messages, corrections, suggestions or other material (“submissions”), you confirm that you have the right to share them and that they are not unlawful, defamatory or infringing. You grant Cedar Line Dispatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use submissions to respond to you and to improve our content. We will not publish your name or personal information without your permission. Personal information in submissions is handled under our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Cedar Line Dispatch will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other loss or damage — including personal injury, property damage or travel costs — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or any activity you undertake.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Cedar Line Dispatch against claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, sitting in Toronto, unless applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
